Adam Thompson

Adam Thompson is best known as the iconic front man of Australia rock band ‘Chocolate Starfish’, whose self-titled debut album went platinum and won an ARIA award after spawning hits ‘Mountain’ and their cover of Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain’. Renowned for his powerhouse performances and electric stage presence, Adam continues to live up to his reputation as the ‘consummate entertainer’, captivating the young and not-so-young with his boundless energy and undeniable desire to connect with his audiences.

He is a creative force off-stage, as well, co-writing all of the Chocolate Starfish albums (‘Chocolate Starfish’, ‘Box’, ‘Seafood’ EP, ‘Primitive’ EP and 2018’s SPIDER) as well as a solo venture in 2003, ‘Reconnected’. His lyrics span from being poetic and reflective to cheeky and irreverent; as with his performances, there are always delights and more than a few surprises.

Reinforcing his distinction as one of Australia’s best rock ‘n’ roll front men, Adam shows no signs of slowing down as he embraces the Bohemian Rhapsody Concert series. His performance comes hot on the heels of the Red Hot Summer Tour 2019 as well as the INXS KICK album tour, the second of the successful Classic Albums Series from Chocolate Starfish. With another stint with the ‘Fish on Rock the Boat and another album in the works, Adam is set to wow his fans and win a legion of new ones in 2019.
